St. Louis Work Zones June 5- June 11

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route Z under Interstate 70 in Wentzville as part of the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project starting Friday, June 6. All work is weather permitting.

Route Z will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to widen the I-70 bridge over Route Z. All entrance and exit ramps at Route Z will remain open.

This work is part of the reconstruction of Interstate 70 with adding a third lane in each direction and the realignment of I-70 between Wentzville Parkway and Route Z.

The Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project covering the eastern portion of I-70 was awarded in November 2024. Construction is tentatively set to take place 2025-2028.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

  • I-55, St. Louis City, one southbound lane closed from I-44 to north of Bates and two southbound lanes closed north of Bates to north of Weber through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City and County, two northbound lanes closed from north of Bayless to Virginia through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough and the Loughborough on-ramp to northbound I-55 will be closed through May 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman to southbound I-55 is closed through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound I-55 is closed through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from north of Reavis Barracks to north of Bayless through 2025.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, various northbound and southbound lanes narrowed between I-64 and Olive through late 2025.

  • Route 21, St. Louis County, one lane closed northbound and southbound over Gravois Creek and Grant’s Trail until December 2025.
  • Route 21, one lane northbound and southbound will be closed Musick to Tesson Creek Estates through late 2025.
  • Route 61/67, St. Louis County, one lane closed from Conway/German intersection to Conway Road.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one northbound and southbound lane closed over Coldwater Creek.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, all lanes closed northbound and southbound at Deer Creek (just south of Conway Road/German Boulevard through early August.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound and southbound Route 67 loop ramps to Route D closed. Route D westbound and eastbound loop ramps to Route 67 closed.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, the intersection of northbound/southbound Route 109 and eastbound/westbound Route CC closed through the end of 2025.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, S. Eatherton Road, is closed at its intersection with Route 109 through July.
  • Route 141, one southbound lane closed at I-64 through 2025.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, the westbound I-64 off ramp to southbound Route 141 and the eastbound I-64 off ramp to Route 141 closed.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one lane closed southbound from Cool Valley Drive to St. Ann’s Lane through July.
  • Route W, St. Louis County, all lanes closed between Winnifred Drive and Twin River Road.
  • Route AC, St. Louis County, one northbound and one southbound lane closed at Maline Creek (just south of Lucas & Hunt).
  • I-64, St. Charles County, one lane closed from Route K to eastbound I-64 closed through July 2025.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, intersection of I-55 and Route 67 closed.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, one lane of northbound/southbound I-55 closed from Route 67 to Route Z.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, three left turn lanes closed at McNutt under the interstate. Traffic will move to the outside lanes. Drivers will be able to make a left turn onto the interstate ramp.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, the ramp from southbound Route 67 to southbound I-55 will be closed through September 2025.
  • Route 61/67, Jefferson County, two lanes closed northbound/southbound at Miller Road and at Route 61/67 and St. Johns Church Road.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, one southbound lane closed at I-55.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, one lane closed at Route CC.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, the southbound 67 to southbound I-55 loop ramp closed.
  • Route Z, Jefferson County, three middle lanes closed in the center of Route Z. All traffic is pushed to the outside lanes.

  • Route Z, St. Charles County, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed between Route D and Route N. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
  • Route Z, St. Charles County, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed on Route Z under I-70.
  • Route 50, Franklin County, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., one eastbound and westbound lane closed from Gasconade/Franklin County line to Route C.
  • Route 50, Franklin County, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., one eastbound/westbound lane closed between Independence Drive to Route BB.
  • Route NN, Franklin County, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., one lane closed between Route 30 and Route O. A flagger and pilot car will direct traffic through the work zone.
  • Route 30, Jefferson County, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., one eastbound and westbound lane at Carol Park. Flagging operation on Route TT.
  • Route 61/67, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on both northbound and southbound at Miller Road and St. Johns Church Road.
  • Route MM, Jefferson County, 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., one eastbound/westbound lane closed between Main Street to Route M.
