MoDOT to Close Eastbound I-270 Ramp to Southbound I-170 through September

NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY -- Beginning Friday, June 13 at 7 a.m. the eastbound I-270 ramp to southbound I-170 will be closed through September while crews replace the I-170 bridge (over Pershall Rd.). The recommended detour is to continue eastbound on I-270 to Washington/Elizabeth, use the U-turn ramp to westbound I-270, to the southbound I-170 ramp.

Pershall Rd. will be closed from Hanley Rd. to Hazelwood Ave. on Friday, June 13 at 8 p.m. until Monday, June 16 at 6 a.m.  The closure will allow crews to demolish the I-170 bridge.  Signs will direct motorists to detour through Hazelwood Ave.

During construction of the new I-170 bridge, Pershall Rd. between Hanley Rd. and Hazelwood Ave. will be down to one lane daily, beginning Monday, June 16 from 5 p.m. to 2 p.m.  Flaggers will direct motorists through the project area and signs will direct motorists to detour through Hazelwood Ave.

All work is weather permitting. For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information and real- time roadway weather conditions go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real-time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com.
