HANNIBAL – Individuals are invited to a public open house to learn about a potential future safety improvement project at Route F and U.S. 24/61 in Marion County. The open house is planned for Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Marion County Courthouse at 100 S. Main Street in Palmyra, Missouri.
Details about future improvements, including potential project concepts, will be shared at the meeting through displays and discussions with Missouri Department of Transportation engineers. The meeting is open-house style, so there will be no formal presentation; attendees can attend anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
“We encourage individuals to come and discuss the project, ask questions and share feedback,” said MoDOT Project Manager Brian Untiedt.
For those unable to attend the meeting in person, please submit comments to necr@modot.mo.gov . MoDOT is interested in gathering feedback from the public regarding the project and other general comments. The comment period will be open from June 12-25. “We also encourage anyone interested to sign up for emails about the project at this link: Customer Service Signon (mo.gov),” Untiedt added.
