JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting various ramp closures on I-70 and I-470 for pavement operations. All work is weather permitting.
See below for traffic modifications and dates:
- Crews will CLOSE the westbound I-70 ramp to southbound I-470 on Monday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, June 10 at 6:00 a.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the northbound I-470 ramp to westbound I-70 on Monday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, June 10 at 6:00 a.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the southbound I-470 ramp to eastbound I-70 on Monday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, June 10 at 6:00 a.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the eastbound I-70 ramp to northbound I-470 on Tuesday, June 10 at 8:00 p.m. to Wednesday, June 11 at 6:00 a.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the eastbound I-70 ramp to southbound I-470 on Tuesday, June 10 at 8:00 p.m. to Wednesday, June 11 at 6:00 a.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the westbound I-70 ramp to southbound I-35 on Thursday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. to Friday, June 13 at 5:00 a.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
