ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Vance Brothers, Inc., contracted by the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to scrub seal Nodaway/Holt County Missouri Route 113 beginning Monday, June 2 through Monday, June 9. Crews are then scheduled to scrub seal Nodaway County Route B from Tuesday, June 10 through Friday, June 13.
Traffic Impacts: During construction, crews will narrow the roadway to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone. Flaggers will also be present at intersections.
The contractor has until December 2026 to complete this project. Scheduling details for the remaining routes will be made available as they are determined. The remaining routes are:
- Andrew County Route DD.
- Andrew/Buchanan counties Route W.
- Andrew County Route O.
- Buchanan County Missouri Route 371.
- Buchanan County Route H.
- Buchanan County Route E.
- Clinton/DeKalb counties Route K.
As a part of this project the following routes have been sealed:
- Atchison County Route V.
- Atchison County U.S. Route 275.
- Nodaway County Missouri Route 148.
- Atchison County Route T.
- Atchison County Route B.
- Andrew/Buchanan County Route D.

All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
