HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Audrain County
Route E – June 2, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 22 to Missouri Route 15 between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Clark County
Missouri Route 27 – June 4 - 5, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance at the De Moines River Bridge in St. Francisville between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Knox County
Route E – June 11, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 156 to Missouri Route 6 at Knox City between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route J – June 9, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 11 to Route Z between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route T – June 12, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route E to Missouri Route 6 between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Route U – June 10, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route D to Route E between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Lewis County
Route J – June 2 – 5 & 9, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 156 to Missouri Route 6 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route DD – June 10 – 11, CLOSED for patching operations from 230th Street to Missouri Route 6 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

U.S. Route 61 West Outer Road – June 9, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route C to South Lincoln Drive at Troy between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 24 Eastbound – June 2-6 & 9-13, LANE RESTRICTION for utility work from CR 357 to the Quincy Memorial Bridge between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – June 5, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from U.S. Route 61 to Harrison Hill in Hannibal between 3:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Monroe County
Route D – June 5, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route Z to Route E between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route D – June 9, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route E in Monroe County to Route B in Ralls County between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route J – June 9 – 12, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Whiteside School Road to Delgman Road over Clear Creek between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily.

Missouri Route 79 – June 11, CLOSED for utility work from U.S. Route 54 to Jackson Street in Louisiana between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Ralls County
Missouri Route 154 – June 9 – 10, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 19 to U.S. Route 54 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Missouri Route 154 – June 11 - 12, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 19 to U.S. Route 54 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Route D – June 5, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 19 to Route B between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route D – June 9, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route E in Monroe County to Route B in Ralls County between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route CC – June 4, CLOSED for patching operations from Route H to Griffin Hollow Road between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Randolph County
Missouri Route 3 – June 2 - 5, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from 0.50 mile before and after the Sweet Spring Creek Bridge between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Route YY – June 5, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 151 in Monroe County to U.S. Route 24 in Randolph County between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone. Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
