SIKESTON—Route 61 in Perry and Cape Girardeau counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Route KK in Cape Girardeau County to Route F in Perry County, near Old Appleton, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 5 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs and temporary signals will be used to direct traffic. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
