JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – After being postponed due to weather, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has rescheduled the routine bridge maintenance on the Route C (Ellis Boulevard) bridge over U.S. Route 54 in Jefferson City. Local crews now plan to close the bridge each night, beginning at 8 p.m. June 1, reopening the following morning by 5 a.m. These nightly closures will continue through the morning of June 5.
MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones.
