Guard Cable Repair Work Scheduled on Westbound U.S. Route 36 at Macon

HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, as early as May 29, contractor crews with CSD Environmental Services, Inc. will begin guard cable repair work on westbound U.S. Route 36 in Macon County. Work will occur in the passing lane of westbound U.S. Route 36, from 0.5 mile east of U.S. Route 63 to 0.2 mile west of U.S. Route 63 at Macon.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction at the location where crews are actively working. Workers will be present during daylight hours. The repair work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
