ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Buchanan County Route DD bridge over Jenkins Creek is now open following a deck replacement project. Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, reopened the bridge on Tuesday, May 13.
Route DD at the Jenkins Creek Bridge has been closed since March 3.
Two other bridges are also included in this project -- the Upper Neely Bridge on Andrew County Route B and the Lincoln Creek Bridge on Andrew County Route H. For more information about this project, visit: https://www.modot.org/route-b-route-dd-and-route-h-bridge-rehabilitation-andrew-and-buchanan.
All work is expected to be completed by December 2025.
