HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Audrain County
Route M – May 12, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 980 to Route D between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route DD – May 12, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 980 to Route D between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route HH – May 13 – 14, CLOSED for patching operations from Route D to U.S. Route 54 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Clark County
Route V – May 14 - 15, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from the Iowa State Line to Missouri Route 81 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route V – May 19 - 20, CLOSED for seal coat operations from the Iowa State Line to Missouri Route 81 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route Y – May 12 – 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route HH to Missouri Route 81 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route HH – May 12 - 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from CR 252 to Route Y between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Knox County
Route E – May 13 – 16 & 19 - 20, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 156 to Missouri Route 6 at Knox City between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Route J – May 23, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from Missouri Route 11 to Route Z between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route T – May 21 – 22. CLOSED for patching operations from Route E to Missouri Route 6 at Knox City between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Route U – May 12 – CLOSED for patching operations from Route D to Route E near Newark between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Lincoln County
Missouri Route 79 – May 12, LANE RESTRICTION for shoulder work from Old Highway 79 at Elsberry to Cedar Drive near Foley between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Missouri Route 79 – May 13, LANE RESTRICTION for grading ditches/drainage work from Route Y to Cardinal Hill Road between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route PP – May 13, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Corso Road to Liberty Church Road near Silex between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Macon County
Missouri Route 3 – May 12 – 16 & 19 - 22, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from 0.50 mile before and after the Silver Creek Bridge between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Monroe County
Missouri Route 15 – May 12, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from 0.50 mile before and after Crooked Creek Bridge between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Montgomery County
Route J – May 12 - 15, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Whiteside School Road to Delgman Road over Clear Creek between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily.
Route K – May 13, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Missouri Route 19 to Route HH over Dry Fork between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Pike County
Route PP - May 13 - 14, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 338 to CR 323 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Randolph County
U.S. Route 24 – May 12 & 14, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from 500 feet west and continuing to 500 feet east of Business Route 63 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Work with us in the work zone! Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel. With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone. Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
