Kansas City area maintenance work for May 12-16

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from April 28 – May 2. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Route H at various locations between Liberty city limits and Excelsior Springs city limits: flagging operation with pilot cars from Mon., May 12 until Thu., May 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

JACKSON COUNTY

Ramp from Interstate 70 eastbound to Interstate 35 southbound: intermittent ramp closures on Mon., May 12 and Tue., May 13, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for bridge inspections.

Ramp from I-35 northbound to I-70 westbound: intermittent ramp closures on Mon., May 12 and Tue., May 13, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for bridge inspections.

Route BB between Pink Hill Rd. and Route FF: flagging operation on Mon., May 12, from approximately 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 131 between US-50 to Missouri Highway 58: flagging operation from Wed., May 14 until Thu., May 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

Route T at Republic School Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., May 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route EE between Route HH and Route J.: flagging operation from Mon., May 12 until Thu., May 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240 between US-65 and Missouri Highway 41 South: flagging operation from Mon., May 12 until Tue., May 13, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
