ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation, working with Vance Brothers, Inc., will begin overnight work on a scrub seal project in Buchanan County next week. The tentative schedule is as follows:
- May 12-19: U.S. Route 169 (Loop 29) in Buchanan County from Interstate 29 to Route FF.
- May 16: Missouri Route 6 from I-29 to Route 169.
- May 20-22: eastbound U.S. Route 36 in Buchanan County from I-229 to Route AC.
- May 27-28: westbound Route 36 in Buchanan County from Route AC to I-229.
Traffic Impacts: Crews will narrow the roadway to one lane with flaggers guiding motorists through the area. Work will be completed overnight.

All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
