PLATTE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting pavement resurfacing operations on outer roads within Interstate 29 near Platte City. All work is weather permitting.
See below for dates and traffic modifications:
- Crews will conduct a single lane flagging operation at the I-29 outer road (Prairieview Rd) from Bethel Ave to Mexico City Ave beginning on approx. Thursday, May 8 until Friday, May 9 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the I-29 outer road (Roanridge Rd) from the north warehouse entrance to the Bethel Ave intersection beginning on approx. Thursday, May 8 at 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
