Where: Nighttime lane Closures on the Republic Road Bridge over U.S. Route 60 (James River Freeway) between Campbell Avenue and National Avenue in Springfield
When: 8 p.m. – 6 a.m. May 13-22, 27-31
What: Contractor crews will replace the Republic Road bridge surface. Crews will be off the road May 23-26 for Memorial Day weekend.
Traffic Impacts:
- Nighttime lane Closures on the Republic Road Bridge over U.S. Route 60 (James River Freeway) between Campbell Avenue and National Avenue in Springfield
- Route 60 (James River Freeway) open in both directions
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Drivers will need to follow the signed detour or seek an alternate route to avoid the work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closures/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
