Resurfacing project on U.S. Route 65 in Livingston, Carroll Counties to begin May 19

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Capital Paving and Construction, LLC to complete a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 65 from U.S. Route 36 in Chillicothe to south of Route CC in Carrollton beginning Monday, May 19.

Traffic Impacts: Route 65 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place.

The project is expected to be complete by mid-October.

As part of a different project, the contractor is currently repairing curbs and entrances along Route 65 from Second Street to Business U.S. 36 in Chillicothe.
