HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Audrain County
Missouri Route 15 – May 6 - 7, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Missouri Route 22 to Route D in Mexico between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. daily.
Route A – May 5, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 54 to Route U between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Clark County
Route Y – May 12 – 14, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 161 to Missouri Route 81 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route HH – May 5 – 6, CLOSED for seal coat operations from CR 238 to Route Y between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Knox County
Route E – May 5 – 7, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 15 to Missouri Route 156 at Newark between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Route E – May 13 – 16, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 156 to Missouri Route 6 at Knox City between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Route U – May 12 – CLOSED for patching operations from Route D to Route E near Newark between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route KK – May 9, CLOSED for patching operations from Turtle Avenue to Missouri Route 156 at Newark between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Lincoln County
Route O – May 15, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route D to Missouri Route 161 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Route BB – May 7, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route H to Ridgemount Drive between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route PP – May 13, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Corso Road to Liberty Church Road near Silex between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route TT – May 5 – 6, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Stanek Road to Mary Jo Road between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route TT – May 13 - 14, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route D to Mary Jo Road between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Macon County
U.S. Route 63 – May 6 - 7, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Walnut Street to Kohl Street over BNSF Railroad between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Marion County
Missouri Route 168 – May 6 – 7, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Route C to CR 230 over the North River between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
Montgomery County
I-70 Eastbound – May 5 - 10, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route F at High Hill to Route E at Jonesburg between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily.
Route J – May 5 – 7, 9 & 12 - 15, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Whiteside School Road to Delgman Road over Clear Creek between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily.
Route K – May 13, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Missouri Route 19 to Route HH over Dry Fork between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Pike County
Missouri Route 79 – May 9, LANE RESTRICTION for shoulder work from CR 219 to Fox Creek Bridge near Clarksville between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Missouri Route 79 – May 12, LANE RESTRICTION for shoulder work from Old Highway 79 to Cedar Drive at Elsberry between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route PP - May 13 - 14, CLOSED for culvert replacement from CR 338 to CR 323 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Randolph County
U.S. Route 24 – May 12 & 14, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from 500 feet west and continuing to 500 feet east of Business Route 63 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Business Route 63 – May 5 - 7, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route A to U.S. Route 63 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
U.S. Route 63 – May 5 - 6, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route M to Business Route 63 over U.S. Route 24 at Moberly between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. daily. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Shelby County
Route E – May 5 - 7, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 15 to Missouri Route 156 at Newark between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Warren County
Route W – May 5 - 7 & 12, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from I-70 NW Service Road to Route A at Warrenton between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.
