Urgent repairs prompt ramp closure today in north Jefferson City

Ramp from westbound U.S. Route 54 to eastbound Route 94

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – A washout has prompted the closure of the ramp from westbound U.S. Route 54 to eastbound Missouri Route 94 today, Thursday, May 1. Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) are making emergency repairs to the roadside and affected pavement. The ramp should reopen this afternoon, weather permitting. During the closure, motorist should continue to Route W (Airport Road) to access eastbound U.S. Route 54, then exit onto eastbound Route 94.

This work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
