JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will perform pavement repair work requiring the following closures on EB I-670 through the I-35 interchange, evening and overnight, from 8 p.m. on Monday, May 5 until 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6 (approximately).
- EB I-670 CLOSED from Beardsley Rd. to Broadway Blvd. through the I-35 interchange.
- Motorists will be detoured on SB I-35 and will be able to use Broadway Blvd. or Cambridge to NB I-35 to EB I-670
- A double lane closure will be in place on EB I-670 from Broadway Blvd. to Charlotte.
This work is part of a larger project to repave EB/WB I-670 from Troost Ave. to 18th St. across the state line.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
