Ramps on Andrew/Holt County I-29 to close for resurfacing project starting tomorrow

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to close the below ramps beginning tomorrow, Friday, April 25, due to a resurfacing project on Interstate 29.

Andrew County

  • April 25:
    • Southbound I-29 to/from Route K (Exit 60)
    • Northbound I-229 to southbound I-29 (Exit 14A)
  • April 29:
    • Northbound I-29 to/from Business 71 (Exit 53 to Savannah)
  • April 30-May 1:
    • Northbound I-229 to/from northbound I-29 (Exit 14BC)
  • May 1-2:
    • Northbound I-29 to/from Route K (Exit 60 to Amazonia)
  • May 3:
    • Northbound I-29 to/from U.S. Route 59 (Exit 65 to Fillmore)

Holt County

  • May 4-5: Northbound I-29 to/from Route 59 (Exit 67)
    • Northbound I-29 to/from Route 50 (Exit 67 to Oregon)

Traffic impacts: The ramps will be closed intermittently between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
