JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will make the following closures for bridge repair work at U.S. 71 and 43rd St., EXTENDED, Ongoing – April 28 (revised from April 21).
REVISED: The following closures will be in place, ongoing – April 28 (approximately)
- 43rd St. will be closed over U.S. 71
- Right lane of NB U.S. 71 will be closed just before to just after 43rd St.
- Ramp from Euclid St. (39th St.) to NB U.S. 71 will be closed
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
