JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – The first of three bridge rehabilitation projects is scheduled to begin next week in Crawford County. In March, a contract was awarded to Kozeny-Wagner, Inc. to rehabilitate Route C, Route FF, and Beamer Lane over Interstate 44.
The schedule for the three rehabilitation projects is as follows:
- Route FF: April 28 through June 20.
- Route C: June 23 through August 18.
- Beamer Lane: Mid August through September.
During their respective construction timeline, motorists will need to seek alternate routes. All work is projected to be complete by the end of September, weather permitting and subject to change.
This work is part of a larger effort to study and bring improvements to I-44. For the latest on work happening along the corridor, visit the Forward 44 website: Forward 44 | Missouri Department of Transportation.
MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
