PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting lane closures for bridge repair work on I-635 NB over the railroad on approximately Wednesday, April 30 between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. This work is part of a larger project, which repairs various bridge decks in Cass, Jackson, and Platte Counties. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
