Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, April 21 - May 2, 2025

HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Audrain County

Route A – April 21 - 22, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 756 to U.S. Route 54 at Benton City between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route A – April 23 - 24, CLOSED for patching operations from Route U to U.S. Route 54 at Benton City between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route E – April 28 – 29, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 15 to Route T between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route E – April 30 – May 1, CLOSED for patching operations from Route T to Missouri Route 22 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Clark County

U.S. 61 Outer Road – April 24, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 61 to end of state maintenance near Wayland between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 27 Outer Road – April 28, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 27 to end of state maintenance near Wayland between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route B – April 30 & May 1, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 27 to U.S. Route 136 near Wayland between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Knox County

Route A – April 21 - 22, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 156 to Missouri Route 6 near Hurdland between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Route E – April 23 – 25, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 15 to Missouri Route 156 at Newark between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Route E – April 30 – May 2, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 156 to Missouri Route 6 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Route U – April 29 – CLOSED for patching operations from Route D to Route E between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Route KK – April 28, CLOSED for patching operations from Turtle Avenue to Missouri Route 156 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Lewis County

Missouri Route 6 – April 22 - 23, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Lewistown to Knox City between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 61 Outer Road – April 21, CLOSED for patching operations from Route B to the end of state maintenance between 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Route U – April 29 – CLOSED for patching operations from Route D to Route E between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Lincoln County

Route PP - April 30, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Corso Road to Liberty Church Road near Silex between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – April 21 – 22, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route C to Missouri Route 3 over the Middle Fork Chariton River between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 36 Westbound – April 21 – 22, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Fireworks Avenue to Eagle Avenue over the Chariton River between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 36 Westbound – April 21 – 22, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Eagle Avenue to Decal Place over the Old Chariton River between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – April 21 – 22, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Decal Place to Eagle Avenue over the Old Chariton River between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – April 28 - 29, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Eagle Avenue to Fireworks Avenue over the Chariton River between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 36 Westbound – April 28 - 29, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Atlantic Loop to Missouri Route 129 over the Mussel Fork Creek between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – April 28 - 29, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route W to Missouri Route 129 over the Bruch Creek between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 36 Westbound – April 30, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route C to Missouri Route 3 over BNSF Railroad between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 36 Westbound – April 30, LANE RESTRICION for bridge maintenance from Route K to Business Route 36 over the Middle Fork Salt River between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 63 – May 1, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Walnut Street to Kohl Street over BNSF Railroad between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Monroe County

Missouri Route 107 – April 21 - 22, CLOSED for patching operations from Route U to Missouri Route 154 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.

Missouri Route 107 – April 23, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 24 to Missouri Route 154 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route AA – April 21, CLOSED for seal coat operations from CR 956 to Route C between 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

I-70 Eastbound – April 28, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Mile Marker 167 to Mile Marker 169 over the Loutre River between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

I-70 Westbound – April 29, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Mile Marker 169 to Mile Marker 167 over the Loutre River between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Pike County  

Route PP - April 30 – May 1, CLOSED for culvert replacement from CR 338 to CR 323 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Randolph County

U.S. Route 63 Outer Road – April 21, LANE RESTRICTION for seal coat operations from CR 2610 to end of state maintenance between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 63 Northbound – April 23 - 24, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance over St. Louis District Railroad from Old U.S. Route 63 to CR 237 between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 63 Northbound – April 23 - 24, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance over U.S. Route 24, from Route EE to Business Route 63, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

U.S. Route 63 Southbound – April 23 - 24, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance over U.S. Route 24, from Business Route 63 to Route EE between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 14-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Business Route 63 – April 28 & 30, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route A to U.S. Route 63 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Business Route 63 – April 29 & May 1, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from U.S. Route 63 to Route A between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Schuyler County

Route K – April 22 - 24, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Grand View Avenue to Keim Avenue near Greentop between 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

Shelby County

Route E – April 23 – 25, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 15 to Missouri Route 156 at Newark between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Warren County

Route H – April 24, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Stuermann Road to Sturbridge Drive in Wright City between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Work with us in the work zone!  Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel.  With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.  Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
