CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting bridge rehabilitation and pavement operations on I-435 at Parvin Road to 48th Street resulting in various lane closures. All work is weather permitting.
See traffic modifications below:
- Southbound I-435 from 48th St. to Parvin Rd. will be reduced to one lane to restripe on Tuesday, April 22 at 8 p.m. until Wednesday April 23 at 6:00 a.m.
- Northbound I-435 from Parvin Rd. to 48th St. will be reduced to one lane to restripe on Wednesday, April 23 to Saturday, April 26 between 8:00 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- The left lane of northbound and southbound I-435 from Parvin Rd. to 48th St. will be closed for shoulder paving and then bridge rehabilitation beginning approximately Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00 am continuously until December 1.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
