JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will make the following closures at I-435 and U.S. 24 for heat straightening and repair work April 17-25 (approximately). All work is weather permitting.
The following work will take place Tuesday, April 15 – Friday, April 18 (approximately)
- Ramp from U.S. 24 to NB I-435 will be closed
- One lane will be closed on NB/SB U.S. 24, the auxiliary lane between the on-off ramps on I-435.
The following work will take place Thursday, April 17– Friday, April 25 (approximately)
- Ramp from SB I-435 to U.S. 24 will be closed
- One lane will be closed on NB I-435 at Truman Rd. (MO 12).
- One lane will be closed on SB I-435 over the railroad to the north.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
