ST. CHARLES COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close two right lanes and the shoulder of eastbound Interstate 70 at the Blanchette Bridge over the Missouri River over the next three weekends for bridge repairs. All work is weather permitting.
Crews will work on the eastbound bridge the weekends of April 11-14, April 18-21, and April 25-28. Each Friday evening, crews will close the two eastbound right lanes and shoulder at 8 p.m. This around the clock closure will end at 5 a.m. the following Monday morning. Three eastbound lanes on the bridge will remain open.
During this work, there is an 80,000 lb. weight limit for semi-trailers on the bridge.
