SIKESTON – Northbound and Southbound Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform concrete repairs.
Work will be at the following locations near Steele, Missouri:
- Northbound I-55 from mile marker 4 to mile marker 7
- Northbound I-55 from mile marker 9 to mile marker 13
- Southbound I-55 from mile marker 6 to mile marker 10
Weather permitting, the work will take place Monday, April 14 through Friday, May 2 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The work zone will remain in place until the work is complete.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
