Lane closures scheduled for pavement patching on EB/WB I-470, evening and overnight, April 11-13.

Crews will perform pavement patching on EB/WB I-470 from Hickman Mills Dr. to Raytown Rd.

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will perform pavement patching on EB/WB I-470 from Hickman Mills Dr. to Raytown Road requiring various lane closures, evening and overnight, 8 p.m.- 6 a.m., April 11-13.

The following lane closures will be in place, evening and overnight, April 11-13

  • Double lane closures on EB/WB I-470 from Hickman Mills Dr. to Raytown Rd. from 8 p.m. on Friday, April 11 until 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 12.
  • Double lane closures on EB/WB I-470 from Blue Ridge Blvd. to James A Reed Rd. from 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 until 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 13.

This work is part of a project to resurface EB/WB I-470 from Hickman Mills Drive to Raytown Road in the Spring/Summer of 2025.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
