JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Plans to close Callaway County Route Z to replace a culvert have been postponed. Local crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will now close Route Z between Route JJ and County Road 140 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9.
During the closure, local property owners will be able to access driveways, but through traffic will need to seek an alternate route.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
