LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from March 31 – April 4. All work is weather permitting.
JACKSON COUNTY
Missouri Highway 7 northbound at Consumer Rd.: right lane closed from Mon., March 31 until Fri., April 4, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for drainage work. The entrance to Buchheit will also be closed.
Interstate 70 from I-435 to Sterling Rd.: one lane closed in each direction from Tue., April 1 until Wed., April 2, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for barrier wall repair.
Interstate 70/U.S. 71 northbound ramp to WB I-70 under Admiral: ramp closed Thu, April 3, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for barrier wall repair.
Interstate 470 southbound ramp to Colbern Rd.: ramp closed from Wed., April 2 until Thu., April 3, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, for shoulder work.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Route DD between SE 611 Rd. and NE 751 Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., March 31, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge flushing.
Route E between Route MM and Route CC: flagging operation on Mon., March 31, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge flushing.
U.S. Highway 50 eastbound and westbound between Devasher Rd. and SE 501 Rd.: intermittent lane closures on Tue., April 1, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge flushing.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route HH between Missouri Highway 135 and Smith Rd.: full closures on Mon., March 31 and Tue., April 1, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pipe replacement work.
Route B: full closures from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day for pipe replacement work.
Wed., April 2: between Missouri Highway 127 and Purchase Rd.
Thu., April 3: between Lake Rd. and Templeton Rd.
SALINE COUNTY
Route BB at various locations between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 20: full closures from on Tue., April 1 and Wed., April 2, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pipe replacement work.
Route N: full closures from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily for pipe replacement work.
Thu., April 3 and Fri., April 4: between US-65 and 290th Rd.
Thu., April 3 & Fri. April 4: between 290th Rd. & 300th Rd.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
