MoDOT: Lane Closures on Missouri 13 Bridge in Kimberling City and Missouri 39 Bridge in Shell Knob

Beginning Monday, March 31

Barry & Stone County – A project to wash two bridges in Barry and Stone County will begin Monday, March 31, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

The contractor crews will wash the Missouri Route 13 bridge over Table Rock Lake in Kimberling City and the Missouri Route 39 bridge over Table Rock Lake in Shell Knob. Bridge work will include lane drops with flaggers directing traffic over the bridges.

Traffic impacts:

  • Lane closures on Missouri Route 13 bridge over Table Rock Lake in Kimberling City and the Missouri Route 39 bridge over Table Rock Lake in Shell Knob
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic
  • Drivers will encounter flaggers where crews are working
  • During higher traffic volume, drivers can expect delays
  • No signed detour. Drivers should find alternate routes.
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zones
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Contractor: AAD Contracting, Dearborn, Michigan

The awarded construction cost is $247,219.50.

The project is scheduled for completion on May 23, 2025.
