Route U in Butler and Stoddard Counties Closed for Bridge Rehab
SIKESTON—Route U in Butler and Stoddard counties will be closed as construction crews perform bridge rehabilitation over the Saint Francis River.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 668 in Butler County to County Road 681 in Stoddard County.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 14 with completion anticipated Wednesday, July 23. The roadway will remain closed until the work is completed.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
