SIKESTON― Route 72 in Iron and Madison counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews resurface the roadway and add shoulders.
This section of roadway is located from Pine Street in Ironton to West Main Street in Fredericktown, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, April 7 through Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
