JACKSON COUNTY – Permit work will require the closure of Blue Parkway between NE Joel Ave. and Milton Thompson Rd., March 26 -June 15 (approximately). This closure is for the construction of a roundabout east of NE Joel Ave. A signed detour of U.S .50 to both Blackwell Rd. and MO 7 will be in place during construction.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
