HANNIBAL – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the westbound on-ramp to Interstate 70 at Mile Marker 193 at Missouri Route 47 in Warrenton in Warren County for Geotech boring as part of the Improve I-70 Project #2 from Warrenton to Wentzville. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.

This ramp will be closed:

Tuesday, March 25 at 10 p.m. to Wednesday, March 26 at 5 a.m.

Wednesday, March 26 at 10 p.m. to Thursday, March 27 at 5 a.m.

The Improve I-70 Project #2 covering the eastern portion of I-70 between Warrenton to Wentzville was awarded in November 2024. Construction is tentatively set to take place 2025-2028.

Missouri’s FY2024 budget from the General Assembly signed into law by the governor provides $2.8 billion in General Revenue for the costs to build a third lane of I-70 across the state. The program will plan, design, construct, reconstruct, rehabilitate, and add a third lane in each direction on nearly 200 miles of I-70, from Blue Springs to Wentzville.
