ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation are temporarily installing a steel plate Monday, March 17 on a section of Highway H between Island Road and Mertz Road due to a pipe culvert failure which has started to impact the driving surface of the asphalt pavement.
Weather permitting, crews will return Tuesday, March 18 to replace the pipe underneath the highway and repair the roadway. Highway H will have a road closure at Island Road and Mertz Road while the work occurs Tuesday.
