CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting bridge rehabilitation and pavement operations on I-435 at Parvin Road to 48th Street resulting in various lane closures. All work is weather permitting.
See traffic modifications below:
- The northbound lane of I-435 from Parvin Rd. to 48th St. will be reduced to one lane for shoulder paving overnight from 8 pm Wednesday, March 12 to 6 am on Thursday, March 13.
- The southbound lane of I-435 from 48th St. to Parvin Rd. will be reduced to one lane for shoulder paving nightly between 8 pm and 6 am beginning on Wednesday, March 12th until Friday, March 14.
- The left lane of northbound and southbound I-435 from Parvin Rd. to 48th St. will be closed for shoulder paving and then bridge rehabilitation beginning approximately Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00 am continuously until December 1.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
