Scheduled Closure on Route ZZ in Montgomery County for Bridge Replacement Project

HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, as early as March 24, Route ZZ in Montgomery County is scheduled to close, over Little Loutre Creek, 0.46 mile south of Route RA near Wellsville, as work begins on a bridge replacement project. Work is anticipated to be complete by mid-June.

Included in this contract is an additional bridge replacement project, located on Route K in Audrain County, over Hickory Creek, 1.74 miles west of Route W near Farber. This bridge is currently in progress with an anticipated completion date of late-May.

E & C Bridge, LLC was awarded the contract in December 2024 in the amount of $2M. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
