HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, concrete pavement repair work is scheduled to begin in the early morning hours of March 8 on Northbound U.S. Route 61 at Troy in Lincoln County. All repair work will occur during nighttime hours on:
- Saturday, March 8 from 12:00 a.m. midnight to 6:00 a.m.
- Saturday, March 8 from 7:00 p.m. to Sunday, March 9 at 6:00 a.m.
Traffic impacts will include:
- The closure of the Northbound U.S. 61 On-Ramp at the South Lincoln Drive interchange.
- The Northbound U.S. 61 Off-Ramp at the South Lincoln Drive interchange will remain open to traffic.
- Northbound U.S. 61 will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction in place where workers are present.
All work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change. For the safety of the crews and the traveling public, we would like to remind drivers to be attentive in work zones and put down your cell phones to eliminate distractions.
