JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will make the following closures for geotechnical scoping work along Interstate 70 in Kansas City on Thursday, March 6.
- Crews will close the EB I-70 ramp to 27th St. from approximately 7 a.m. until 12 p.m.
- Crews will close the WB I-70 on-ramp from Benton Blvd. from approximately 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
