LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from March 3-7. All work is weather permitting.
CLAY COUNTY
U.S. Highway 69 between Missouri Highway 92 and Vickie Dr.: flagging operation on Mon., March 3 and Tue., March 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for drainage work.
US-69 at various locations: intermittent lane closures from Mon., March 3 through Fri., March 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement milling.
Missouri Highway 33 between NE 170th St. and NE 176th St.: flagging operation from Mon., March 3 until Wed., March 5, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for drainage work.
MO-33 between NE 170th St. and NE 176th St.: full closure on Thu., March 6 with the possibility of an additional closure on Fri., March 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for drainage work.
JACKSON COUNTY
Various highway lane closures throughout the week for pothole patching operations.
Interstate 70 eastbound and westbound between Benton Blvd. and Jackson Ave.: left lanes closed on Mon., March 3 and Tue., March 4, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for barrier wall repair.
Buck O’Neil Bridge (U.S. Highway 169 over the Missouri River): various lane closures from Wed., March 5 until Fri., March 7, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for bridge inspections.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Missouri Highway 13 between Route PP and SE 600 Rd.: flagging operation from Mon., March 3 through Fri., March 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.
Route AA between Missouri Highway 58 and NW 450 Rd.: flagging operation from Mon., March 3 until Thu., March 6, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.
Route AA between Missouri Highway 58 and SW 100 Rd.: full closure on Fri., March 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for brush cutting.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route O between Route HH and Route N: flagging operation from Mon., March 3 until Fri., March 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.
RAY COUNTY
Missouri Business Highway 10 between MO-13 and Missouri Highway 10 west.: full closure from Mon., March 3 until Fri., March 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.
SALINE COUNTY
Missouri Highway 240 between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 41 South: flagging operation from Mon., March 3 through Fri., March 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pothole patching.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
