Kansas City area maintenance work for Feb. 24-28

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Feb. 24-28. All work is weather permitting.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 13 between Route PP and SE 600 Rd.: flagging operation from Mon., Feb. 24 through Wed., Feb. 26 and Fri., Feb. 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for brush cutting.

Route W between U.S. Highway 50 and Missouri Highway 58: flagging operation from Mon., Feb. 24 until Fri., Feb. 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240 between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 41 South: flagging operation from Mon., Feb. 24 through Fri., Feb. 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pothole patching.

RAY COUNTY

Missouri Business Highway 10 between Missouri Highway 10 and Swafford Rd.: full closure from Mon., Feb. 24 until Fri., Feb. 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
