MoDOT to conduct bridge repair work on eastbound I-70 Blanchette Bridge over the Missouri River

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the far-right lane and shoulder of eastbound Interstate 70 at the Blanchette Bridge over the Missouri River from February 24 to March 3 for bridge repairs. All work is weather permitting.

Starting Monday, February 24 through Friday, February 28, crews will close the eastbound right lane and shoulder from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m.  

On Friday, February 28, crews will close the far two right lanes on eastbound I-70 at 8 p.m. This around the clock weekend closure will end at 5 a.m. Monday, March 3.

During this work, there is an 80,000 lb. weight limit for semi-trailers on the bridge.
