JACKSON COUNTY – Permit work by Kansas City Water Services for a water main replacement will require the closure of the NB lane on Noland Rd. (Route V) from just north of E. 54th Terrace to just south of U.S. 40, Feb. 24-March 21. This will NOT be a complete closure of NB Noland Rd. A temporary traffic signal will be utilized on SB Noland Rd. for two-way traffic and NB Noland Rd. (Route V) will remain OPEN to motorists while this project is in operation. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
