REVISED Lane/ramp closures scheduled on I-70 and U.S. Highway 40, Feb. 21 - Mar. 14

REVISED: JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting bridge maintenance operations on I-70 over U.S. Highway 40. Work will begin on approximately Friday, February 21 until Friday, March 14. (Revised from February 18 - March 11.) All work is weather permitting.

Traffic modifications below:

  • Lane closures on I-70 over U.S. 40
  • Ramp closure at I-70 westbound to U.S. 40
  • Lane closure on eastbound and westbound U.S. 40 under I-70

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
