JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The toll booths on Camden County Route MM are set to be removed beginning next week. Crews from Gene Haile Excavating Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to begin the removal process on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025. Completion is expected by May 1, 2025.
The project will begin with intermittent lane closures and flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. In early March, temporary traffic signals will be utilized to narrow Route MM to one lane while maintaining two-way traffic. Route MM is expected to remain open throughout the project, but motorists should expect delays.
All work is weather-permitting and subject to change.
MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones.
