Public Meeting Announced for South Loop Project Environmental Assessment
Discover and Share Your Voice on This Transformative Park Project in the Heart of the City

Kansas City, Mo. - The South Loop Project is poised to redefine public space in Kansas City, creating a world-class, 5.5-acre urban park featuring lush gardens, inclusive play areas, entertainment venues, pop-up markets, and year-round programming. This exciting initiative will serve as a vibrant community hub and a catalyst for economic development.

An open house public meeting to present the project’s Environmental Assessment will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the Kirk Family YMCA, 222 W 11th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105.

This open-house meeting invites you to leave comments about the results of the Environmental Assessment, design and construction of the South Loop Project, the economic and social effects of such design, and its consistency with the goals and objectives of the community.
