St. Louis Work Zones January 30-February 5

ST. LOUIS – Traffic conditions along Interstate 55 in Jefferson County should ease some as crews open a new portion of an existing roundabout today.

MoDOT will open the roundabout in the southeast portion of the Interstate 55 and Route 67 interchange to traffic between the northbound interstate and northbound Route 67 at 3 p.m.today.

Northbound interstate traffic exiting at Festus (Exit 174) to head north on Route 67 will use the new roundabout. Northbound interstate traffic heading south on Route 67 will continue to use the existing loop ramp.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

  • I-55, St. Louis City, two southbound lanes closed from north of Bates to north of Weber and one southbound lane closed north of Weber to Reavis Barracks through early 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed from north of Bayless to Virginia through early 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed between Reavis Barracks Rd. and Virginia to north of S. Lindbergh through early 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, one northbound lane closed from Lindbergh to north of Bayless through early 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, Cherokee entrance ramp to southbound I-55 closed through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough and the Loughborough on-ramp to northbound I-55 will be closed through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman to southbound I-55 is closed through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound will be closed through 2025.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, various northbound and southbound lanes narrowed between I-64 and Olive through late 2025.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, westbound exit ramp to Riverview Drive closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, on ramp from Riverview Drive to westbound I-270 closed.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Thoroughman to Robert Avenue.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one southbound lane closed from Lakeview to Thoroughman.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Frost to Taille De Noyer Drive.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Reasor to Frost Avenue.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, intersection of I-55 and Route 67 closed.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, northbound/southbound I-55 closed from Route 67 to Route Z.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, three left turn lanes closed at McNutt under the interstate. Traffic will move to the outside lanes. Drivers will be able to make a left turn onto the interstate ramp.
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, one lane of Old Route 21 closed over new Route 21 (bridge).
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, closed on West Rock bridge.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, one southbound lane closed at I-55.

  • I-44, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one right lane westbound and the ramp from Lewis Road will be closed at the Meramec River.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., one westbound lane closed on Cragwold Road over the interstate. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
  • Route 61/67, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed southbound between Squires Lane and Swan Avenue.
  • Route 21, St. Louis County, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., one northbound/southbound lane closed between Musick and Route 67.
  • I-64, St. Charles County, 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., one left lane closed westbound from Route K to Route DD.
  • Route 50, Franklin County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed from County Line to Route C. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed northbound from Route 67 to Manley Quarry bridge.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from northbound to northbound Interstate 55 will be closed.

  • I-44, St. Louis City, 9 a.m.to 5 p.m., one lane closed eastbound on the ramp to northbound I-55.
