Kansas City area maintenance work for Jan. 27-31

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Jan. 27-31. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNTY

U.S. Highway 40 at White Cemetery Rd.: left lane closed on Mon., Jan. 27, from approximately 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., for ditch and drainage work.

US-40 at Valley View Dr.: right lane closed on Tue., Jan. 28 and Wed., Jan. 29, from approximately 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., for ditch and drainage work.

Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Zumalt Rd.: flagging operation on Thu., Jan. 30 and Fri., Jan. 31, from approximately 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., for brush cutting.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

Route PP between Brackman Rd. and St. Louis St.: full closure on Mon., Jan. 27, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.

 

PETTIS COUNTY

Route O between Route HH and Route N: various sectioned closures from Mon., Jan. 27 until Fri., Jan. 31, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

RAY COUNTY

Route DD between Ballard Blvd. and Mary Ann Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., Jan. 27, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement milling.

Route A between Route E and Caldwell County line: flagging operation on Tue., Jan. 28 until Fri., Jan. 31, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement milling.

Missouri Business Highway 10 between Missouri Highway 10 and Missouri Highway 13.: full closure on Wed., Jan. 29 until Fri., Jan. 31, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for brush cutting.

Route EE between MO-210 and Franklin Rd.: full closure on Mon., Jan. 27 and Tue., Jan. 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for brush cutting.

 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
